Does building and launching rockets sound like fun to you?

Rocket Club is open to 7th and 8th grade Richfield Elementary School students in good academic standing. Initially you must complete an application with recommendations from two staff members. Applications are available on a link to this website. Completed applications are due to Mr. Theisen no later than October 30th. Your continued membership is dependent upon regularly attending meetings, maintaining good grades, and exhibiting appropriate behavior.

The Richfield Rocket Club has two teams (7th and 8th grade) that each compete in the Rockets for Schools launch. The Rockets for Schools competition takes place in Sheboygan. This event takes place in May. Our teams must each design an experimental payload, build VERY large rockets, and create a presentation that includes an explanation of their experiment, building process and mission patch.

We raise money for our rocket competition fees, materials, and rocket motors by hosting Movie Nights at Richfield Elementary School. We truly appreciate the support we receive from the community. Thank you!
