Technology Education

The Technology Education program here at Richfield Elementary School officially was started in the 2008/2009 school year, and has changed, evolved, and improved over that entire time span.

In 2016, our Tech Ed classroom was drastically overhauled, turning it into two neighboring classrooms, and outfitted with amazing tools, cabinets and equipment.  While not all tools will be able to be used throughout the entire year, this is still one very impressive improvement at Richfield School.  Please stop by to take a look when you get a chance.

Tech Ed 1 and Tech Ed 2 courses are designed to test students' ability to work in teams, follow rules and directions, and use innovative ideas to solve problems.

A major focus of these courses is to have students learn the 'Engineering Design Process,' and various safety topics.
