Although this is my first year in the Richfield District, I have been involved in education for over 25 years. I finished my undergraduate degree at the University of WI - Milwaukee, compIeting field work and student teaching in MPS. I began my career in the Waukesha and Mequon school districts teaching 5th grade at each post. After staying home to raise my four children, I worked part time teaching 8th and 1st grade math at my children's private school. While there, I was involved in math curriculum changes among other curriculum design and contributed administratively. I come to Richfield from the Hamilton School District where I worked with K-5th graders in math intervention. I am currently going back to school at Concordia University for a masters degree in Educational Administration with a focus towards curriculum. On a personal note, I am the mother of four children: Olivia, a college sophomore, Isabel, a high school senior, Audrey, a sophomore in high school, and Liam, who is in 8th grade. We have a dog named, Winston, a husky mix who hates the cold, and a new puppy named Wellington, Wellie for short, who has been a great addition. I am excited to partner with the families of Richfield towards helping their students thrive.
